After the success wolf had, luring little red riding hood into his trap, and given the current economic climate, he decided to use his skills as a charmer and make some money from it.
It's done in pen and ink on Bristol board, which I have just discovered and slightly fallen in love with!!! (Even though I spilt nearly a whole bottle of black ink all over my carpet )
EDIT: I worked out how to use my scanner, so put up a better quality pic
This is such a queer and charming piece of work :3 the messy wolves and the strange geometry of the building and the stippling inks make this such a bizarre piece.. in such a good way! I love the feeling I get from this. It could've done with just red and b/w without the browns, they feel a bit un-necessary overall but do bring something to the table. I love this! (But I hate deviantART watermarks! Gladly it doesn't distrupt so much from your piece in here particularily.)
Thank you so much!! I know what you mean about the watermarks, but I have heard stories of peoples art being stolen, it's sad that we have to slightly ruin a picture just to keep it safe. I actually wasn't going to do the brown at the start, but just felt it needed something a bit more so they didn't disappear into the floor. who knows whether it was the right thing to do or not!! hopefully i'll do some more in this sort of style soon, it was so much fun!!
I don't know if watermarks stop people from stealing work to be honest.. the safest way to stop it is to not upload it to internet I would suppose! As long as you keep it low-res people can't atleast make money with it.
